Personalized Weather Pattern

It appears as if WA weather follows me wherever I go. I was living in VT. for awhile. During that time, they experienced the wettest summer in years. Now I live in AZ. More rain than usual has fallen here since I have arrived, and temperatures are 10 degrees below normal. What is with the freaking cloud that is following me?
